Overview

After his companions continued to be killed one after another, Darkero, the leader of the Exiled Heroes, ignored the will of his creator. Instead of waiting for the Heavenly Army, Darkero waged war on the Transcendent Duror himself — the being responsible for the slaughtering of his friends. Darkero, despite his hastiness, was not alone. Haruko, his wife, and champion of the Great Creator, chose her love for her husband over that of her god. The two of them took on an unbeatable foe. They fought for their lives. They fought for their friends. They fought for the world, and they fought for each other.

All the will in the world cannot trump the will of the world. The Transcendent Duror was always going to win. For all their effort, the two were faced with loss. Duror proved too powerful, and Darkero began to slip away, out of life, and into whatever lay ahead. Before he would find out what that was, however, Haruko offered a part of her soul to her husband, saving him from immediate death. Battered and beaten, the two could not defeat Duror. As such, the Transcendent Duror exercised his will and brought about the End of Time. Haruko acted quickly, and sealed away Darkero in a temple protected by the Goddess Aria.

The two lovers’ son, Dayton, survived the End of Time. He was protected by the Elemental Crystal of Light. For many years, with the crystal at his chest, Dayton floated through the Void, always awake, always thinking. He floated year after year through this limbo, until an obscure magician offered him a deal: If Dayton agreed to find the famed Alchemist who protected the Realm of Eternity from perishing during the onset of the End of Time, the magician would send him out from the Void, and into the Realm of Eternity. The choice was easy. He would set out to find the Alchemist.

Locations

Ophielian Forest

Home of the High Elves, Wood Elves, Roman Byzantium’s, and the two of five Trees of Yggdrasil. Once was a forest of endless festivals until the War Of Eden. Since then the Elves have prepared for war and defended the forest, cutting it off from the rest of Eden and creating there allied faction known as Eta under the alliance of Eta. Without supplies from Eden, the Elves and Byzantium’s split into three individual factions among the Eta. The Ra’Dorei, having a High Elven leader on the Council of the Hand Of Eden, controlled the gate to Eden and all diplomatic affairs throughout Ophielian Forest. The Na’Dorei, who consisted of only Wood Elves, were outcasted from Enan Aethel because they were given no political influence. They established the first Elven Port City known as Ayandorei. The Byzantium’s, being the only humans in the forest, isolated themselves within their city known as Byzantium. The La’Dorei, being those who wished to keep the equality between Elves, consisted of High Elves, Wood Elves. Following the guidance of the Archangel  Uriel, they created a city around one of the Trees of Yggdrasil. Receiving the divine blessing of the Archangel, the La’Dorei were tasked with protecting the Tree of Yggdrasil from outsiders. Those selected to protect the Trees created a Temple within the middle of Ophielian forest to worship the Transcendence Ophiel and protect the other Trees of Yggdrasil.

Cliftreach

Home of the Dwarves, Orcs and Giants, Cliftreach has been a struggle between these powers for control. During the War of Eden, each species had a leader of the nation appointed to be part of the Hand of Eden.  After the war ended, the Alliance among nations were dispersed and the dwarves wished for control of Cliftreach. With the alliance diminished, the Dwarves took the Orcs by surprise and drove them into a deeper section of Cliftreach. Joining the alliance under Capital Eden, the Dwarves agreed only if they were permitted access to the Dark Elven leylines. Capital Eden provided the dwarves access to the Dark Elven leylines, increasing industrial architect and weapon development.  The Orcs and Giants refused to join Capital Eden’s alliance as they stood by and watched when the dwarves destroyed there capital city years ago.

Swamp

The area known as the “Swamp”, was once a lustrous forest blessed by the Archangels and ran by the humans. After the War of Eden and the desolation of the forest, the former inhabitants who were cursed by the effects of the destruction took upon its inhabitants. These creatures became known as the Undead. Presented with a preposition in the Hand of Eden, there leader joined and created a faction known as the Defilers.  Angered by their leaders decision to join the alliance without asking the people, a rebellion was formed. It is also home of one of the Trees of Yggdrasil which are controlled by the Dark Elves that reside there.

Bikura Mountains

The Bikura Mountains is home of the Dark Elves, Vampires, Dragons, and Humans. During the War of Eden, the species that resided in the Bikura Mountains were imprisoned by the Dark Order and used to build weapons. Gorrin, during the War of Eden resided here, establishing the Dragoneirs sanctuary in the Realm of Eternity. After the War of Eden, enraged at the Capital for not sending help during the war, the species of the Bikura Mountains refused to join the alliance presented by the Capital. Without help from the Capital, the Dragoneirs were forced to rely on there own supplies.  It is also home to one of the Trees of Yggdrasil.

Glacial Area

The coldest area in the Realm of Eternity, only Vikings resided in this area. With no use to the Capital, the preposition of joining the alliance was not presented to them. In return, the Vikings cut off communication from the rest of the realm and went into Isolation.

Factions

United Republic of Exiled-Refugee’s

Home of the High Elves, Wood Elves, Roman Byzantium’s, and the two of five Trees of Yggdrasil. Once was a forest of endless festivals until the War Of Eden. Since then the Elves have prepared for war and defended the forest, cutting it off from the rest of Eden and creating there allied faction known as Eta under the alliance of Eta. Those selected to protect the Trees created a Temple within the middle of Ophielian forest to worship the Transcendence Ophiel and protect the other Trees of Yggdrasil.

Eternal Eden

Established as a nation for all species to join and live in harmony, Eternal acts as the governing leadership over the Realm of Eternity. With the help of the Hand of Eden, other factions quickly came to acknowledge the power and authority of Eternal Eden. Under the leadership of Archangel Micheal, Eternal Eden offered an Alliance Pact between all the living creatures inside of the Realm of Eternity. Majority of factions joined in the Alliance while some refused to join. After the End of Time, the Archangels , and a substitute king was placed in Micheal’s position. Without the Archangels, the authority of Eternal Eden became harder to maintain.

Hand Of Eden

The Hand of Eden was established after the War of Eden by the Archangels. Each member of the Hand Of Eden was each blessed with an artifact by the Archangels.  They are the strongest fighters that the Realm of Eternity has to offer. There are only 20 seating members within the Hand of Eden.

Eta

A pact established after the fall of the Kingdom of Eunoia at the end of the War of Eden. The Eta Pact was formed by Ab’Shallah Mirius to unify elven races after the annihilation of the Ta’Dora race during the war. Eta was also part of the Alliance established by Eternal Eden. Eta’s ruling capital city resided in Enan Aethel. Three subfactions were then formed after Ab’Shallah Mirius suddenly disappear, each having their own distinct different roles and ideologies:

Ra’Dorei:  A faction of pure High Elves that wanted to keep the High Elven blood and culture pure.  They believe that the High Elven blood is superior and should lead the Eta Alliance because of their superior power in Light and Aurorian magic.  Having a High Elf in the Council of the Hands of Eden, they were given the responsibility of controlling the gate to Eden as well as conducting diplomacy and representation throughout Ophielian Forest.

Na’Dorei: A faction of pure Wood Elves that wanted to keep the Wood Elven blood and culture pure.  They believe that their knowledge and wisdom as well as their authority of maintaining the balance of the natural elements makes them better qualified to lead the Eta Alliance.  They were formed after they were outcast from Enan Aethel when they were seen as inferior and irrelevant to the politics of Ophielian Forest.  They established their  own capital city, Ayandorei, focusing on trade and economics through their masteries in natural magic to maintain influence in Ophielian Forest.

La’Dorei:  A faction of both Wood and High Elves that wanted to preserve the unity of both elven races established by Ab’Shallah Mirius of the Kingdom of Eunoia.  They believed that preserving the legacy of unity will preserve the glory of the Elven Races.  The faction were also followers of the Archangel Uriel and worshipped the Transcendence Ophiel.  They established their capital city around one of two Trees of Yggdrasil, Ophiel, where the Temple of Ophiel was created.  Having received the divine blessings of the Archangel Uriel, the La’Dorei were chosen to protect and have authority of all the Trees of Yggdrasil in the Realm of Eternity.

White Nova

Established by Victorique Noel Estaria after the creation of the Ebon Maw. The White Nova are considered the “Paladins” of the Realm of Eternity. Their primary studies involved Light and Aurorian Magic while they still are a home for all magicians to learn and expand there magical prowess.  They were formed to counter any mishaps and trouble created by the Ebon Maw.

Ebon Maw

Established by Fagast after restriction of studies of the Void, Fagast wanted to continue to study the Void in which he then discovered the sixth element of magic, Dark magic. He deemed the newly discovered element as revolutionary.  He then created his own school for Dark magic in the Dark Mountains.  The Ebon Maw was considered the outcasts throughout the Realm of Eternity for Dark magic was seen as taboo.  They still remain a part of the Alliance established by Eternal Eden for their advancement and innovation in Dark magic that would revolutionize the knowledge and properties of magic.  Despite their advancements, Dark magic was still unstable and highly destructive.  Those who have used this art for evil have caused disasters throughout the Realm of Eternity.

Defilers

Dead Citizens and Warriors who received the Curse of the Damned by Dark Order Leader, Hein. Under the leadership of Skeletor, the Undead were able to break free of the Will of Hein and isolated themselves from civilization. During the War of Eden they were forced to work alongside the other species to fight against the Dark Order. When ransacked by the Dark Order certain species across Eden refused to help the Undead. After the War of Eden, the population of Undead were split into two groups. One’s who believed they should join the Eternal Eden alliance pact and those who believed they had no right in the living affairs. Those who wished to join Eternal Eden became known as the Defilers.

Stormbreakers

Dura, last of the royal orc bloodline reestablished the Orc nation under the name “Stormbreakers”, following the ideology of their deity Transcendent Drakon. After being given a mass area of Cliftreach, the Orcs thrived for years. The Dwarves, demanding that the Orcs be relocated to the Desert, signed a peace treaty with the orcs to stop vandalization. The Dwarves broke the peace treaty and chased the the Orcs near the edge of Cliftreach. The Orcs, refusing to leave Cliftreach reestablished a capital on the edge of Cliftreach and vowed to seek vengeance upon the dwarves. When asked to join the Alliance Pact offered by Eternal Eden, The orcs refused stating that they would not come to there help when the Dwarves attack. Dura, leader of the Stormbreakers disappeared in search of information about her bloodline and the old ways of the Orcs.

CliftBreakers

Established by Bomatir Deepforged after the War of Eden, Dwarven people were given a portion of Cliftreach. After signing a treaty with the Orcs and Giants who refused to leave Cliftreach, the Cliftbreakers ambushed the two sides and forced them out of their capital cities. The Cliftbreakers are the reigning faction within Cliftreach.
